Black Pepper Beef with Tenderstem Broccoli

Thinly sliced steak wok-fried with a punchy black pepper sauce and crisp tenderstem broccoli. A takeaway classic that takes just 15 minutes at home and far surpasses anything delivered to your door.

The Shaoxing wine makes such a difference to the depth of flavour. Great recipe.

Ready in 15 minutes and it's better than my local Chinese restaurant. Remarkable.

The black pepper sauce is absolutely magnificent — so bold and aromatic. Beats any takeaway.
