Ingredients

For 4 servings

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 red pepper, deseeded and thinly sliced
  • 1 yellow pepper, deseeded and thinly sliced
  • 400g good-quality sausages, each cut into 4–5 pieces
  • 400g tin cannellini beans (with their liquid)
  • 400g tin borlotti beans (with their liquid)
  • 2 tbsp rose harissa
  • 1 tbsp garlic granules
  • 1 heaped tsp caster sugar
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Crusty bread, to serve
