- 400g lean beef mince
- 350g penne pasta
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 x 400g tins chopped tomatoes
- 500ml beef stock
- 1 tbsp tomato purée
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 40g parmesan, grated
- Salt and black pepper to season
