  • 400g lean beef mince
  • 350g penne pasta
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 x 400g tins chopped tomatoes
  • 500ml beef stock
  • 1 tbsp tomato purée
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 40g parmesan, grated
  • Salt and black pepper to season
