  • 225g ripe bananas, mashed (about 2 large bananas)
  • 60ml water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 250g plain flour
  • ¾ tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp fine salt
  • 50g walnut or pecan pieces (optional)
