  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1L water
  • Tadka
  • 2 tbsp ghee or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 dried red chilli, crumbled
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Fresh coriander, to serve
